Glass tiles or glass mosaic tiles are a great way to add a bit of class and style to your bathroom or kitchen. Unlike ceramic tiles or ceramic mosaic, glass tiles have the ability to actually refract light rather than just reflce it. This means they have a much more illuminating vibrant color.
Glass tiles can be more expensive than ordinary ceramic or stone tiles however you can always mix and match glass with ceramic tiles. For example you could have a few rows of glass tiles within your ceramic tiles. In this way you can get the refractive benefits of glass without having to use all glass tiles. In fact just adding a few strips or rows of stained glass mosaic tiles can actually look more stylish and more subtle than having a whole wall of glass, which though striking, could be a little overwhelming!
