Stained Glass History is long and varied, originating well over one thousand years ago. The name Stained Glass brings to mind magnificant Church and Cathedral windows, powerful illuminated colors and ornate decoration.When the process of creating large scale stained glass originally evolved sometime around the 10th century a new and very powerful art form was born into the world. Today we have techniques such as the stained glass mosaic which is popular amongst hobbyists. Historians think that stained glass techniques on a much smaller scale had first been discovered even earlier by Muslim 'alchemists' and by the Egyptians in the production of small decroative objects and jewels.....
